In 1999 I was asked to research, design and construct a twenty foot window exhibit in the courtyard of Dickinson Hall (the research wing of the Florida Museum of Natural History) in Gainesville. It was to be about the Taino Indians, who lived in the Caribbean from 800AD til the time of colonization. I wanted to show a plausable reconstruction (from the facts I could obtain) of how they lived and viewed their world. I also wanted to utilize the vast knowledge of the scientists and the resources of the collections in the various divisions of the museum. These are photographs of that exhibit. It is still there in the lower courtyard of Dickinson Hall on Museum Road in Gainesville Florida.

Though Dr. Bill Keegan and Dr. Charlotte Porter were my primary technical advisors, many inividuals and institutions contributed their expertise.
